Pamela Kay St. Romain (46) and her agency, Quality
Insurance Agency, LLC, were served by Department of Insurance Fraud
Section Investigators today with an additional $6,000 fine notice
each for allegedly paying commissions to two employees who were allowed
to conduct insurance business without a license. Also, Casey Sedonia
Lachney (20) was issued a cease and desist order and $1,000 fine
notice today for conducting the business of insurance without a license
and accepting commissions.
St. Romain and Quality Insurance Agency, LLC., were served by
Department of Insurance Fraud Section Investigators in November
with cease and
desist orders, summary suspensions and a $2,100 fine notice each
for allegedly allowing an employee to conduct insurance business
without a license.
Department
records show that St. Romain was issued a Property, Casualty and
Vehicle Physical Damage license in July 1999 and
a Life Accident
and Health license in July 1998. Quality Insurance Agency, LLC.,
was issued a Property, Casualty and Vehicle Physical Damage license
in August 2009. All licenses were valid until being summarily
suspended in November, though the summary suspension as to
the insurance
license of Quality Insurance Agency, LLC, was later lifted.
