A Gretna area agent has been served with a notice of a 90 day suspension
and fine today for allegedly falsifying information on documents
related to bail bonds.
Denise Bartholomew, 45, was served by Department of Insurance Fraud
Section Investigators today with a notice of a 90 day license suspension
and a $1,000 fine. Bartholomew is alleged to have posted two bail
bonds in which she fraudulently altered the amounts of the bail bond
powers.
Department records show that Bartholomew was issued a bail bond
license in September 1983, which is valid through April 2011.

request that their involvement be kept confidential.
