Department of Insurance Office of Consumer Advocacy Addresses New Orleans Council on Aging

The Department of Insurance participated in the New Orleans Council on Aging Board of Director’s Meeting on Thursday, September 17, to update them on the activities of the Office of Consumer Advocacy.

Sherice Forte’, Insurance Specialist for the Office of Consumer Advocacy, addressed the audience about topics including subjects of speaking engagements, how the Department of Insurance can help senior citizens and functions of the Office of Consumer Advocacy. Ms. Forte’ answered insurance-related questions and disseminated informational brochures to the attendees.

“I look forward to working with the individual senior centers and serving the citizens of the New Orleans Council on Aging,” said Ms. Forte.
