2013 Legislative Updates - This document lists the legislative changes enacted during the 2013 Louisiana Legislative Session that impact Title 22, Title 33, Title 44 and Resolutions. The list contains hyperlinks to legislative measures as well as dates that legislation takes effect.

The Stafford Act - The Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Stafford Act) requires local entities to have adequate insurance. If the insurance required by the Stafford Act is not reasonably available, an applicant must follow the Insurance Commissioner’s Certification process.
